24-hour notice for reschedule and cancel
This is how Notary Score treats fairness after a signing is confirmed. It is not legal advice.

Stars are never auto-deducted
Stars only come from completed-file reviews. We never auto-deduct a star for a reschedule or cancel. Inventing a 1-star review would be fake QC.
After the notary is en route
Once the notary is en route or arrived, they cannot pick a new time. Finish the signing or use the no-show path.
New time must actually be free
A reschedule books a new opening on the notary’s published availability. The old appointment is marked RESCHEDULED and linked to the new id — not silently overwritten.
Fees
Notary Score does not hold funds or escrow. If your company policy is to still pay the offered fee on a short-notice change, settle that directly with the notary.
Offer response is a different clock
If offer #1 does not accept in 15 minutes, the file can roll to offer #2. That clock starts at OFFERED, not after CONFIRMED.
